Hi! My name is Molly Propst and I have lived in Lubbock my entire life. I attended Texas Tech University and received my bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Spanish in 2019, and am currently attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences System to obtain my Masters’ in Addiction Counseling.

I have always had a passion for helping others and have always known that I wanted to work in the social services field helping to ensure that the individuals I serve are able to have the best life they possibly can. Prior to this, I worked as a service coordinator with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but I soon realized that I wanted to work with children who were at-risk when I began my masters’ degree. It was through my professors at the Health Sciences Center that I have been able to understand how important prevention education is, and I knew that I wanted to move my career into that direction. I truly hope that I am able to help change kids’ lives for the better and provide them with beneficial life skills. I’m so excited to learn and grow within this position and in the community and really make a difference!
