My name is Kyle Garcia, I am originally from the Austin area but moved to Lubbock to attend the University of Texas Tech. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and continued my education to acquire a Master of Arts in Secondary Education.
Over the last few years, I have been given the opportunity to be a part of different youth programs from Communities in Schools, Community Youth Development at the YWCA and now Hub City Outreach Center.
My passion has been to give guidance and engage with the youth. Being from a small town, showing the youth that it is possible to help others no matter the outcomes you were dealt. Anything is achievable with dedication and a positive mind.
