Hi! Hello! My name is Jacqueline Delgado. Most of the kids call me Jackie.
I am originally from Houston, Texas, and I'm Cuban-American.

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Psychology and a focus in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies and I also studied American Sign Language. I was a first-gen college student, too! I am a Certified Community Health Worker, an Advanced Certified Prevention Specialist and an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist. My previous work experience is in Prevention with Managed Care Center and with Intervention/Harm-Reduction at StarCare Speciality Health Systems providing Pregnant and Postpartum Intervention (PPI) for qualifying women who use substances. Additionally, I am a Project Manager with C.A.R.E Consulting Group, where I assist multiple non-profit and other agencies on their journey to provide services to people in their communities.

Along my journey, I followed my passion for helping others and discovered my love for Prevention Services. Being able to work with youth and turning meaningful messages into fun activities they will remember and apply in life is something that is so powerful in my heart. Not to mention watching them grow into rockin’ young adults is beyond rewarding and is what is needed for a better tomorrow. Everyone deserves to be happy and with Prevention Services, youth and adults are able to regulate themselves and find their motivation.

Everyone should be able to live the life they want to live, but educated!

I am looking forward to this enriching experience with you and your youth.

Thank you for your support. Without it, we would just be a dream.
