Hi, my name is Charlee Wentzel. I am from a small town about 2 hours from Lubbock. I moved to Lubbock in 2015, with a one-year-old, to go to college. Since being here, I have put down roots and have obtained an Associate's degree in Child Development from South Plains College, and a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Human Development and Family Studies. At South Plains College, I was the president of the ACT (Advocates for Children Today) Club for two years. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Over the years, I have worked with children and youth in different settings providing direct care, tutoring, and afterschool care. I have been able to share my passion and be an advocate for the children and youth I worked with.

My passion has been to inspire children, youth and teens from all walks of life to overcome their own obstacles and achieve anything they set their sights on. I am so excited for my journey here at Hub City Outreach Center as the Youth Prevention Coordinator.
